Math: metric measurement in length WB29-30

Science: Lesson 2: Forces WS

Parents: Be on the lookout for a sheet coming home today. You need to fill out your child's t-shirt size and return TOMORROW! We must order our T-shirts by the first of April for them to be ready by our trip on the 13th. Chaperones, remember, if you want a shirt to wear on that day, please send in your shirt size as well. Teachers and staff members will be wearing these!

If you have access to internet at home, we have introduced a new internet service called "My Math Buddies" that is an enhancement to our Math series! It is a great way to reinforce what skills we are learning in the classroom; it offers tutorials over each lesson, gives practice, even offers a practice and test at the end! Your child has practiced this all ready in the computer lab, so if you would like to go on and work, go to www.mymathbuddies.com and your child will know where to go to find their math assignment.

Spelling: Begin "Tic Tac Toe" activities. They are due, stapled together, on Friday!

Reading: Practice O WB 199-200 (Vocabulary)

Math test today over Chapter 14 "Fractions" No HW assignment.

We are beginning our Science Chpt 11 over "Forces and Motions" No HW.

We will have a Social Studies test tomorrow over Chpt 8. Be sure to study both your study guide and your vocabulary definitions!

*Today we travel to Morningside to read with our friends!

*Tomorrow is the Math/Science Fun night. (You should get a letter about this in your child's green folder) It starts at around 5:30pm. We have told our third graders that if they attend, please find a 3rd grade teacher, so they can sign up that they came, and they will not have to complete any HW assignments for that evening! Come and join the staff for a night of fun and learning!!

Spelling: write spelling words 3x each in print OR 2x each in cursive

Math: Adding/subtracting fractions with like denominators WB 111-112

Social Studies: No HW, unless your student is finishing up the vocabulary pop quiz over Lessons 1-3; Study Guide goes home today! Test over Chpt 8 is THursday.
