I am so excited to begin our new 2011-2012 school year at Hendron-Lone Oak! If you are just reading my blog for the first time, welcome to third grade. I can't wait to meet each and everyone of my 21 new third grade friends! We already have lots of fun get-to-know-you activities planned in the next few weeks:
- Friday, July 30th 5:00-7:00 pm "Back to School Bash"!!!! Join us in the back parking lot and gym for free hot dogs, chips , popcorn and soda and all kinds of fun games and activities. Bring the entire family and meet all our new teachers! I will be working in the petting zoo.
- Monday, August 1st 5:30-7:00 pm Third Grade Registration We meet in the gym and take care of all the paperwork that needs to be filled out. Parents may also pay all fees at that time. You may also bring in your school supplies* if you wish. This will keep you from having to pack it in the first day of school!
- Tuesday, August 9th 8:30 am First day of school!!!!
