Math: kilometers/meters WB 29-30 Science: Lesson 2 vocabulary WS; study guide went home today. Test either Thursday or Friday. Natural Disaster "cause/effect" picture **Friday is Career Day at HLOE. We will have guest speakers to discuss their jobs. We are asking students to dress as someone in their favorite career choice.**

Reading: Practice O WB 139-140 **Tomorrow we go to Morningside to visit our friends. We will be sharing board and card games with them. If your child would like to bring a favorite game from home, they may!**

Thursday, January 15th

Study for DOL and spelling tests Math: Finish up Chapter Review pp. 109-111; Chpt 3 test will be Tuesday. Writing: Finish up Martin Luther King essay. Have parent check spelling. We will rewrite them tomorrow and turn in to Texas Roadhouse for judging. **Snack Friday tomorrow. Remember to bring $1 for a snack***

Math: Interpreting Graphs WB 71-74 Reading: Practice O WB 133 Science: Your child should have brought home the study guide for Chapter 3. We will probably have the test on Thursday, Jan. 15.

Study for DOL test and spelling test (unless you passed the pretest on Wednesday) Math: Bar graph WB 65 Grammar: Linking verbs WB 107-108 **Tomorrow is the AR reward for the second nine weeks. We are having treats from "Sweet CeeCee's". Yum!!**
