Math Chapter 8 test is tomorrow! You will need to complete the Chapter Review on Pg. 239 (9-22) Due to Maps testing, our Science Test is postponed until Friday. Continue to review the study guide!

Tuesday, January 14th

Math: Division WS 121/122 We are looking at the test over this chapter for Thursday. Reading: Read "Here's My Dollar" and sign the reading log. Complete the short answer questions, using passages from the story.

Monday, January 13th

Spelling: We will be completing 3 individual activities of your own choosing for the "Spelling Squares". All will be due on Friday morning. Math: Long division WB 155 (one side only) We are looking at taking the Chpt 8 Math test on Thursday or Friday. Science: Vocabulary WB 89-90 Science test on Thursday!

Thursday, January 9th

Study Spelling and DOL sentences for tests tomorrow. Reading: Complete trifold. We will take the AR test tomorrow. Science: Read the story about volcanoes. Complete the WS. **Report cards go out tomorrow. Attached to the card will be a balance sheet on where you are on the Frankfort payments. PLEASE try to get in ALL remaining money by the Feb. deadline. We must make our final payment to the bus company.

Wednesday, January 8th

We DO have reading homework tonight. Please reread the story "Seven Spools of Thread" aloud with an adult. Have them to sign your new reading log.

Tuesday, January 7th

Brrrr! It's cold outside, but we are on fire with learning in Mrs. Pickens's room! We are a day behind, but we should be caught up by Friday, barring anymore bad weather. Spelling: NO spelling squares this week; instead, copy words 3 times each on paper. We will complete the spelling WS tomorrow in class. NO pretest this week due to Maps testing. The regular test will be Friday. Math: Remainders in division WB 149-150 Reading: Practice O WB 119-120; we will read the story tomorrow night
