Homework Happenings for Monday, October 10th

Welcome back to HLOE!!! I hope everyone had a restful, yet fun Fall Break. Now we are heading into our 2nd nine weeks.

Homework for tonight is:

Spelling: Tic Tac Toe spelling activities
Your child will have until Thursday to complete 3 assignments of their own choosing listed on the Tic Tac To Board. This will take the place of our Wednesday spelling WS that we usually do. They may turn in their 3 assignments all AT THE SAME TIME, stapled to the Tic Tac Toe sheet, any time before Thursday. This will give your child an opportunity to have some choices as to what they want to complete to show mastery over their spelling lists, while also teaching responsibility of keeping up with assignments over a number of days. I will also give them time in class to work on this.

Reading: Practice 0 WB 59 only

Math: WS 22/28 over rounding/estimating
