Wednesday, November 19th

We have a math test over Chpt 7 tomorrow. Students are to complete the chapter review on pp 212-213 in their math notebook. Also, practice some 3 digit multiplication problems to prepare for the test!

Tuesday, November 18th

Reading: Read "Jones Family Express" and sign log. Complete trifold. Math: WB 135-136 Social Studies: Finish up Native American chart (use booklet to finish the chart) **We are beginning our Native American Unit this week. I hope your child has already begun to plan their project. Don't forget that it is due Monday, Nov. 24th. We will begin the presentations on that day.**

Reading: Vocabulary on Practice O WB 89 Science: Chapter Review pp 98-99; study for Chpt 2 test. **Friday is our Veteran's Day Assembly at 2:30. If you are a veteran and would like to join us for this program, please contact me or the school office to let us know you will be coming.

Wednesday, Nov. 5th

No HW this evening, but I do have one thing I want your child to bring in tomorrow. We are learning about inherited traits in science. We have talked about how we are similar in traits to our parents, and we want to conduct a little experiment. Please send in a photo of your child's parent as a young person (close to your child's age). We will all share these and see if we can guess which parent belongs to which student! Math: we took the chpt 6 test today; the cutoff for multiplication timed tests is this Friday. We will have our ice cream celebration next week!

Monday, November 3rd

NO spelling list this week, due to the short week. Reading: Read "One Riddle, One Answer" sign reading log and complete WS Math: Finish up Chapter Review on p. 186 for study guide. Review this and ALL facts for test on Wednesday. Remember: NO school tomorrow due to State/local elections!
